Welcome to the G-Creator Forums. The old rules were somewhat outdated so I thought it was time to make them clearer.
Although we love having more people coming and we are not very strict, there are a few rules you must obey:
1. Make sure your question wasn't answered before.
People do this all the time but it's highly unpleasant. Read the FAQs, the pinned topics.
2. Watch your mouth... and keyboard
We have several young members in our community. No vulgar language and no sexual references.
Also, do not flame.
3. Multi/Useless Posting
It's not about posting much, it's about posting useless things, repeating the same questions. For more information about SPAM, read below.
Also, don't post just to test avatars or signatures. You can test these in your control panel.
4. Signatures
Your signature must not be too big, and must obey the remaining rules.
5. No Spamming
SPAM is possibly the worst thing you can do. SPAM means instant banning
6. Watch the law
You still must obey your country's law. This is NOT the right place to ask for decompilers, emulators, roms, warez.
7. Don't use excessive formatting nor punctuation
Don't use too much punctuation(!!!!!) nor excessive CAPS.
Do NOT post the whole message in a different font, color or size.
Do NOT post the whole message in bold, italic or underlined. You may however
8. Multiple users
Do not create more than one (1) user without the permission of a staff member.
9. Team accounts
Team accounts are permitted, but not recommended. This is because teams easily break apart, and they will not last forever.
10. Staff
Do NOT ask a staff member to make you another staff member. Also, don't ask administrators to change your permissions unless you have a good reason to do so.
However, if you're a developer or an artist and you contributed to G-Creator, you may ask an administrator to change your "Group", though.
11. Post in the right category
Carefully read the category's description before posting.
12. Do NOT post on topics that are inactive for a long time
The information there is probably outdated and no longer relevant. If you wish to bring back a discussion that's inactive for some time, create a new topic.
