Hello!
First of all: Sorry for my bad english :P

I'm new to this forums, I hope that this is usefull.
--------------
Do you want to run gamemaker 7.0.5 in Linux? It's possible!

First, Download Wine from www.winehq.com (follow the instructions on the site)

Then, Download gamemaker (www.gamemaker.nl)

Install gamemaker using wine (In a terminal: type: wine "path to gmaker.exe")

Try to start game maker, you'll get a error <_<

Download this file here

Replace the Game_maker.exe in /home/unername/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Game_Maker7/
with the downloaded one

Try to run gamemaker again, now it will work. (hopefully)

please note that the Pro version will not work. only the lite version will work

EDIT: I have added an screenshot.

Awesome! I'm going to use it next patch. :P
Linux Mint is the best OS since.... Ever, in my
opinion, that is. I love it sooo much. ;)

Games don't work. It's just like GM6. Can't
initialize Direct Music Audio, or whatever.
The game shuts down, it goes back to
the GM7 deal. -_-

The program will run in LITE version even if I enter my 7.0 reg key, correct?

EDIT : Unfortunately, the games don't run for me (even one with just a blank room), good work though..
